Lore to Legacy is the vehicle that will enable the celebration and documentary of one’s life to be captured in part or in full. The deliverable is a written assemblage of facts, memories, or perhaps just slight recollections of the past that will be shared with others now and forever.

As a writer, I have had the privilege and fortune to do this.  That being said, my encounters, more than not, included the person saying, ‘I wish someone had sat with my…mother, father, aunt, child in good health or not, and recorded their story.’

That ‘story’ could be about their life, a significant period of time or an event,  recounting an acquaintance, highlights of a fabulous trip, a compilation of an aunt’s recipes or a journal of love letters written during a wartime period that accentuated the bond between two persons.

Lore to Legacy is that in itself the process of taking ones lore, or folklore if you like, and recording it (the legacy) for all time.  It will be a legacy captured now and which could be added on by other generations through family and friends.  For many, Lore to Legacy is the starting point of a wonderful story.

The Lore to Legacy process takes one’s lore, or folklore if you like, and documents it (the legacy) for all time. No matter if the person is young or old, in good health or ill, it is never too late to gather and retain that information.  It will be a legacy captured now and for some the platform that could be added on by future generations of family and friends.
